Job Description

We are looking for a talented and competitive IT Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.

An IT sales representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable speaking with customers, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Source new sales opportunities through lead generation, lead follow-up, inbound and outbound cold calls and emails

- Understand customer needs and requirements

- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas

- Should be able to handle multiple clients and be persuasive and very good at negotiation.

- An IT sales professional's work falls into the three main areas of pre-sales, sales, and post-sales support of software systems or services. It is good to have knowledge on those areas.

- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory

- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

- Perform effective online demos to prospects

Required Skills:

- Proven inside sales experience or needs to have good exposure over IT sales.

- Track record of over-achieving quota or interest to have track record with excellent sales attitude.

- Good to have Strong phone presence and experience in handling multinational clients irrespective of Time zones.

- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.

- Experience working with CRM's like salesforce etc.

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Strong listening and presentation skills

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- BA/BSc/BBA/MA/MSc/MBA degree or equivalent.
