CavinKare - Executive - Business Development - International Business (2-8 yrs)
Business Extraction :
- Engage, Nurture existing distributors/channel partners by product line/portfolio expansion
- Devise Market specific Marketing intervention (BTL schemes, trade activations etc.,) to increase Secondary sales thereby increase Primary sales
Business Expansion :
- Identify new business opportunities - Country expansion - including new buyers, distributors, growth areas and trends in the designated region
- Own the end-to-end sales process for a New country activation - Prospect, Shortlist, Interview, Appoint, First Sale, Repeat
- Devise & Execute the RTM for new country expansion along with the marketing team
- Identify new business opportunities - New Product Development - by scoping up opportunity for NPD (business plan including but not limited to, category size, trends etc.,) development & launch
Marketing :
- Develop an understanding of the Markets' (countries) FMCG industry, customers (diaspora/non-diaspora), channel (GT/MT/KA/WS) via primary/secondary research
- Understand the marketing needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet those needs
- Devise promotional strategy and activities along with the marketing team
- Devise Market specific pricing, Negotiate and fix pricing with customers whenever necessary
CFT Working :
- Seek out the appropriate contact in the organization to solve customer needs (Marketing, Planning, Finance, R&D, Regulatory, Logistics)
- Work efficiently with the CFT, as and when required, to create a positive experience for the customer
Execution Excellence :
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to train, solicit customers
- Create sales pipeline by mining leads from various sources (exim portals, linkedin etc.,), soliciting and converting leads and seek ways of improving the business
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
- Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone as per the the requirement
- Attend seminars, conferences and events wherever possible and keep abreast of trends and changes in the market
