We are in the process of sourcing a Category Head Sales Multinational Consumer Products Company having presence across the Globe. We shall share the exact details about the organization on receipt of your application.

Essential Criteria : The organization is essentially looking at Premier B- School Pass outs with around 13- 17 year's experience (2003 - 2006 pass outs) with extensive exposure to channel sales & distribution. Prior experience in Category Management/ product management is not mandatory for this role.

Position : Category Head Sales

Location : Gurgaon - Corporate Office.

Job Description

Strategy

1. Lead the sales strategy and operations for the assigned category portfolio

2. Lead review and management of consolidated category-wise demand plans (Annual,Quarterly and Monthly)

3. Lead the RTM execution strategy and ensure the success of the category executed over the next 3 years while collaborating with global and India sales strategy teams

4. Monitor competitor activities in the channel / category providing insights to Marketing, Finance, Quality, Pricing etc

Category-wise D&A

1. Accountable for category-wise D&A management

2. Responsible for trade schemes design, deployment and tracking across channels

Category-wise PMR

3. Responsible for P4P analysis and overall sales performance monitoring across channels (e.g. product gaps)

4. Supervise the annual spends for in-market promotions, check-outs, visibility

5. Develop point-of-sale materials to gain shopper attention and support ROI goals for all regions

6. Drive % Growth in target billing points for Category

Channel Management

1. Launch innovative projects aimed at driving channel sales efficiency

2. Execute All India channel programs

3. Identify the key channels for the product range, determine the appropriate SKU- s, and deliver distribution, assortment and visibility objectives across multiple markets and channels
