Capture Meditech - Regional Manager - Sales (5-10 yrs)
Position Overview :
The Regional Sales Manager for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) Devices will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales efforts within a designated region. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, developing regional sales strategies, and building strong relationships with key healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical device sales, particularly within the NPWT segment, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities :
Team Leadership and Management :
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales representatives within the assigned region. Set performance expectations and goals for the sales team. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Sales Strategy and Execution :
Develop and implement a regional sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets. Identify and prioritize target accounts and develop tailored sales strategies. Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
Customer Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and hospital administrators. Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Organize and conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
Market Development :
Increase awareness and adoption of NPWT devices within the region. Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute regional promotional campaigns.
Clinical Knowledge :
Maintain a high level of clinical and technical knowledge about NPWT devices and their applications. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
Reporting and Administration :
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and regional business plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system. Monitor and manage regional expenses within the allocated budget.
Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience :
- Minimum of 5-7 years of successful sales experience in the medical device industry, with at least 2-3 years in a sales management role.
- Extensive experience with NPWT devices and a deep understanding of the wound care market.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills :
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex clinical information.
- Analytical skills to assess sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Established network within the healthcare industry, particularly in wound care.
- Clinical background or medical training related to wound care is a plus.
Working Conditions :
- Travel required within the assigned region to support the sales team and meet with clients.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary to meet with clients or attend events.
