Capture Meditech - Executive - Sales (3-5 yrs)
Position Overview :
The Sales Executive for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) Devices will be responsible for driving sales and expanding market share within an assigned territory. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical device sales, specifically within the NPWT segment, and a deep understanding of the clinical applications and benefits of these devices.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy and Execution :
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. Identify and prioritize potential customers, including hospitals, clinics, and individual healthcare providers. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and hospital administrators. Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Organize and conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
Product Knowledge and Education :
- Maintain a high level of clinical and technical knowledge about NPWT devices and their applications. Educate customers on the benefits and proper use of NPWT devices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Stay updated on new product developments, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Market Development :
- Increase awareness and adoption of NPWT devices within the assigned territory through targeted marketing and sales efforts. Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute regional promotional campaigns.
Reporting and Administration :
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and territory business plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
- Monitor and manage expenses within the allocated budget.
Qualifications :
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the medical device industry, specifically with NPWT devices.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills :
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex clinical information.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in wound care or a related therapeutic area.
- Established network of contacts within the healthcare industry.
- Clinical background, such as nursing or medical training, is a plus.
Working Conditions :
- Travel required within the assigned territory to meet with customers and attend events.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary to meet customer needs.
