Capapie Sports Equipment - Merchandiser Role (6-8 yrs)
- To explore & initiate business activities in new countries
- To grow the existing business portfolio
- To search new customers in countries where business is existing & add new products to the existing customers
- To regularly participate in tender in assigned territories
- Analysis of Export sales data EXIM & IMS
- Search & finalise distributor in the new business countries with the use of social media like LinkedIn etc.
- Coordinate it contribute for new agreements & update existing agreement with customers in assigned countries
- Create & maintain sales data of our as well as competitors for analysis as & when required
- Search, analyse & add new products in existing country
- Looking out for Tender opportunities within the assigned territories for new tender
- Documentation of tender, Performance bond & Bid security application for all new tenders as per requirement
- Create & maintain database of all past tenders in each country
- Follow up on the new Purchase order from customers
- Follow up with regulatory department for the dossier related queries & product development updates
- Follow up with Logistics team on the shipment of goods
- Follow up with Planning team for timely manufacturing & supply of goods
- Any other work assigned by superiors
- Coordination with different stakeholders PMT, Logistics, Planning. Regulatory & Accounts
- Market expertise, Country specific requirements, Know how about the market under development, Knowledge about regulatory affairs & commercial terms
- Continuous coordination & follow up with customer over the call & WhatsApp: Communication over the mail
- Communication, coordination with all the stakeholders, Teamwork, Problem solving. Negotiation, Data Analysis

- Export Team Budget & Projection Before Directors
- Improvisation in Export dept. functions
- Ensuring Continent wise Revenue Generation &Timely collection of Outstanding
- Weekly Report regarding High performers list v/s Low performers Plan of action for bringing Low performers to the levels of high performers
- Ensure the Export Team Discipline & HR Policy Rules Adherence
- Handling Work related Escalation
- Monthly MIS preparations & presentation to Top Management
- Planning and developing merchandising strategies
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives
- Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
- Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
- Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory
- Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
- Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Remain up to date with industry's best practices
Requirements and skills :
- Proven working experience in merchandising
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills
- Commercial acumen and the ability to "decode" customers
- BS degree in Marketing or related field
