About the opportunity :

As an SEO Expert at Kolabtree, you will get to do more than just implement keywords into a website. You will be responsible for the overall search strategy in ensuring good organic traffic and exposure for websites.

Responsibilities :

- Monitor search algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape

- Drive targeted and loyal traffic to the website through effective community-building

- Employ user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization methods to turn visitors into more active users

- Continually check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor the performance of websites and make recommendations for improvement

- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization

- Develop and implement link building strategy

- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming

- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

- Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within search engine guidelines

- Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors

Qualifications and requirements :

- 3+ years of SEO domain experience

- Prior experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including SEMrush and Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tool

- Add-on experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc) will be a value add

- SEO certified will be a value-add

- Must have prior experience of US / UK market or website

- Expertise in tools such as Ahrefs, heatmap analysis and channel expertise in Off Page & On Page optimisation will be preferred

- Desirable to have Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administrations

- Previous experience of working in retail or marketplace, GIG platform is desired
