Business Manager - Business Development - Pharma (9-18 yrs)
Candidate Must have Experience working in Tanzania.
Business strategy :
- Collaborate with all stakeholders (including distributor) to define aspiration and strategy for Country
Sales and Marketing :
- Drive marketing strategy and brand plan for products / segments
- Drive creation, deployment and monitoring of doctor and patient engagement programs
- Manage dynamic pricing of products
- Work with cross functional teams to develop superior product propositions (e.g.; alternate delivery models, lowest cost pricing) and ensure smooth delivery to customers
- Drive scientific and relationship based selling activities with all key stakeholders (especially doctors)
- Manage pricing of products on a dynamic basis in consultation with Cluster Head and SBU Head
- Manage sales force deployment, target setting, performance management etc. to drive sales force productivity and excellence
- Support forward looking portfolio selection
Financial management :
- Develop annual Country budget and manage resources prudently to deliver financial expectations
- Achieve yearly sales budget for the country
HR :
- Oversee staffing and attrition management, drive excitement and motivation in the team
Required Experience & Qualification :
- Graduate and MBA
- 8-10 years of experience in pharma sales industry
- Experience of having led P&L (Preferable)
- Experience in successful launches for high value products, including knowledge of running good patient and doctor centric engagement programs
