Role: Business, Economy and Tech Writer and Curator For A Daily Newsletter

- Primarily write on business, tech, economy, startups, culture and pop culture

- Our Client is a technology driven digital media company working at the intersection of content, marketing, technology and policy.

- This role specifically relates to a project around a daily roundup for millennials in a unique and innovative manner which you will work on.

Reports to: Founder

Responsible for :

- Curating top stories in the fields of business, economy, technology, startups, information disorder, pop-culture, light touch entertainment etc.

- Writing summaries and analysis of these stories in an original tone that matches with the audience profile

- Timely delivery of the roundup to readers daily

- Ideating and innovating on the format, content themes, engagement

- Keeping track of reader feedback and analytics to make improvements

- Support and work with the fact checking team for cross pollination of content and ideas

- Work with the marketing team to grow the project

- Help in building a product that suits the project

Key Requirements :

- Bachelors degrees in journalism or mass communication. Masters degree is a plus.

- At least 2 - 3 years of work experience with a news publication writing on business and economy

- Work in shifts (if needed)

- Is able to work independently and can take ownership

- Enterprising and innovative

- Impeccable English speaking and writing skills

- Salary: Commensurate with experience, skill and industry standard
