Business Head - Sales - eCommerce (15-20 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning & Execution :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, market share, and profitability for the assigned vertical.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
P&L Management :
- Take full ownership of the P&L for the vertical, ensuring effective cost management and revenue generation.
- Identify cost-effective solutions to optimize operations and maximize profitability.
- Develop and track financial metrics to measure success and set performance targets.
Team Leadership & Development :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance team across various functions including sales, marketing, product, and operations.
- Foster a collaborative, results-oriented, and innovative culture within the team.
- Set clear goals and provide guidance to ensure alignment with the broader organizational vision.
Customer & Market Insights :
- Establish a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Use data and insights to refine the product and service offerings, ensuring they meet market demands.
Growth & Expansion :
- Drive new business initiatives, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the vertical's reach.
- Lead market entry strategies for new geographies or segments to ensure sustained growth.
- Identify and pursue strategic acquisitions, alliances, and partnerships to enhance business offerings.
Innovation & Digital Transformation :
- Spearhead the integration of digital technologies and innovation to enhance product offerings and customer experience.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation in business models, products, and services.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the vertical stays ahead of the competition.
Stakeholder Management :
- Report to the Executive Leadership Team on business performance, strategic initiatives, and market developments.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across departments.
