Business Head - Educational Business (5-23 yrs)

- The BDM-Education will be responsible for business development in the School education segment. BDM will be responsible for implementing marketing programs and demand generation programs in alignment with the India Education Business Development plan.- This individual will also serve as a subject matter expert for key education segments and will be required to develop and maintain expertise in target verticals. The business development manager will work in close cooperation with the sales team to respond to large opportunities.- The education- market includes International Schools, public K-12 institutions.- This role requires an experienced individual with background and deep knowledge of the segment. The individual should have experience in handling large customers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the local Education markets and scope the short and medium term opportunities for the Company across this business segment.
- Develop a yearly education business plan for the south region focusing on lighthouse accounts, channel growth and rollout of key education programs. Ensure that this business plan is aligned with the overall India plan for the Education Market and takes into account Global and India objectives and programs.
- Develop Relationships with key Education accounts in the International Schools & Higher Education segment to create lighthouse accounts.
- Identify and work with Key Education Publishers to make Education content available for the devices.
- Work on participating in Key Education conferences, seminars and events through channel and subject experts available.- Prior experience in related products for education segment is desired
- Identify and work on specific opportunities in Government Education initiative.Key Competencies: Key skills and experience required for this role
- Business Development experience required.
- Understanding of Mumbai Education market and existing relationships with key accounts (International Schools and Higher Education) desired
- Strong business analysis skills, including basic statistical abilities.
- Strong presentation skills.
