Business Development Specialist - Publishers/Ad Network (2-8 yrs)
Affinity (http://www.affinity.com), a global contextual Ad Network, is seeking a talented, highly motivated and dependable individual who has the ability to win business for our range of display ad products from local and global original content publishers. This position calls for a person with strong communication and networking skills, an aggressive sales drive, above average intelligence and emotional quotient, strong negotiation skills, ability to work with sales targets and in-the-know of latest industry trends. The role is based in Mumbai and includes frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.
Required Skills :
2 to 8 yrs relevant experience in online advertising industry
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong sales capabilities
Should be able to do business with people from different cultural backgrounds
Driven, self-motivated, with an inclination towards learning and grasping new concepts
Should be a great team player and motivator Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with sharp analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Should have an eye for detail & passion for perfection - you won't let crap get by you
Persuasive
Well versed with MS-Office applications like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Avid Internet User
Responsibilities :
Acquisition of publishers to use Affinity's varied display monetization products
Execute business development plans for global markets
Developing business proposals
Stay up-to-date with the latest buzz and trends in the industry
Develop sales strategies and establish action plan (lead list, timelines, approach, etc) to achieve mutually acceptable targets
Hand hold the client through the setup phase Interact with multiple teams on product, technology, ad sales, to ensure your publisher requirements are heard Maintain client relations independently along with effectively optimizing traffic and recommending improvements
