Business Development/Sales Support Role (1-2 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
1. Market Research :
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential target markets, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
- Gather and analyze data to identify market opportunities and make informed recommendations.
2. Lead Generation :
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify and qualify leads through various channels such as online research, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Maintain a database of potential clients and track progress through the sales pipeline.
3. Client Prospecting and Relationship Building :
- Assist in identifying key decision-makers within target organizations and initiate contact to explore potential partnerships or collaborations.
- Nurture relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
4. Proposal Development :
- Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales collateral.
5. Sales Support :
- Support the senior business development team in preparing for client meetings, including researching client backgrounds, preparing meeting agendas, and providing relevant materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and address any client concerns.
6. Reporting and Analysis :
- Track and analyze business development activities, pipeline metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress to management.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills to identify market trends and potential opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and convincingly.
- Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles is an advantage but not required.
