Business Development Role - Travel Package (1-5 yrs)

The company is an early-stage fast growing globally scalable startup in the B2B SaaS travel-tech domain. The platform is focused on corporate travel enabling end-to-end convenience for employees and building transparency and decision-making ability for corporates. The platform further differentiates itself by many industry first features like meta search engine, whatsapp approvals, flight search AI among many others.
It is growing at 5x year on year while retaining 100% of its over 80+ corporate customer base including Shoppers Stop, Symbiosis Institute, Aditya Birla and Piramal Group companies & others. The founding team consists of highly energetic people from XISS, IIM Indore, and IIT Roorkee among others.
Responsibilities include:
- Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
- Onboarding interested clients onto Ziptrrip platform till activation
- Reactivating dormant clients by understanding their pain points & requirements
- Develop a business development strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
Requirements:
- MBA or graduates with 1 to 2 years of experience in business development
- Self-driven, highly responsible, accountable and passionate about business development
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ready to travel to the client locations
