Business Development Role - Professional Service (2-5 yrs)

- We are a dynamic and growing company and we provide high-quality technology consulting, IT training solutions, and sales & marketing services across the US, India and Australia.
- Ideally, you should be an experienced sales specialist who wants to work in a startup environment and take responsibility to drive sales to grow the company in the USA and NENA markets. You should be well-versed and experienced in nurturing leads, and closing sales for large customers.
- You will be expected to build a pipeline of new leads, work on existing leads, create business proposals, quotes, demos and close sales. You will be expected to have great communication skills - written and verbal for the types of clients we serve
Responsibilities & duties :
- Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
- Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Learn our services offered by our company, identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
- Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
- Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
- Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
- Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Pitch Decks, Canva, Pivot tables.
- Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
- Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
- Should have experience in business proposal writing, Excel, copywriting and business plan writing
- Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant
Skills/attributes required :
- Degree in marketing, business administration or similar.
- Degree in Law/Accounting is a plus
- Should have 2+ years of experience in BDE.
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavioral trends
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
- Neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Great networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
- Should be eager to work in a challenging startup environment.
- Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
- Experience with cold, warm calling, and follow up emails.
- Experience with research and maintaining CRM databases - Zoho Bigin and Zoho CRM
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Attention to detail in all you do.
- Experience working with companies overseas
