About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Development Representative with a strong background in onboarding technology clients for a recruitment company. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the tech startup ecosystem and the ability to build and maintain relationships with founders, hiring managers, and HR leaders in product and service-based tech companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new tech clients (startups, mid-size, and enterprise) for recruitment services.
- Develop and implement client acquisition strategies, leveraging market research and industry insights.
- Build strong relationships with CTOs, HR Heads, and Founders to understand their hiring needs.
- Pitch recruitment solutions tailored to the hiring challenges of tech companies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure successful client onboarding and service delivery.
-Keep track of industry trends, hiring patterns, and competitor activities to optimize business development efforts.
- Attend networking events, industry conferences, and tech startup meetups to expand the client base.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in business development/sales within the recruitment industry.
- Proven track record of onboarding technology clients (startups, product, or service-based companies).
- Strong understanding of tech hiring trends, job roles, and recruitment challenges.
- Ability to create sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) for tracking sales pipelines.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a recruitment agency or a tech-focused business development role.
- Existing network in the startup and tech ecosystem.
- Understanding of SaaS, AI, Cloud, and emerging tech domains.
