Roles and Responsibilities (Along with Skills Required) :
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential lending opportunities.
- Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop lending strategies.
- Evaluate lending proposals and determine their viability and profitability.
- Develop and Implement Business Development Strategies :
- Develop and execute business development plans to expand the lending portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, partners, and potential borrowers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as credit risk, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of lending transactions.
- Generate leads and proactively identify new lending prospects through various channels, including networking, industry events, and referrals.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure lending agreements.
- Present lending solutions tailored to the client's needs and financial goals.
- Manage Existing Client Relationships:
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing lending clients.
- Strengthen client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Monitor Market Trends and Competitor Activities:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
- Analyze market dynamics and adjust lending strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide regular reports and updates on market insights, lending portfolio performance, and business development activities.
- Set ambitious revenue targets and work towards achieving or exceeding them. Monitor lending portfolio performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective measures when necessary.
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize lending processes and improve operational efficiency.
Skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
