Business Development Role - BFSI (2-5 yrs)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and target-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), FMCG, Retail, or B2B sales. This role involves lead generation, client engagement, and driving revenue growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and produce new business leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Hold meetings, product demonstrations, and sales pitches for new clients.
- Build and maintain good connections with clients and business partners.
- Identify customer requirements and provide unique solutions to satisfy them.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Monitor market developments, competition actions, and client preferences.
- Make sure you follow up on leads and close them on schedule.
- Use CRM systems to maintain accurate sales records and reporting.
- Travel across Bangalore and the nearby areas to meet potential clients.
Candidate Profile:
- At least two years of field sales experience, ideally in BFSI, FMCG, retail, or B2B sales.
- Effective communication, negotiating, and relationship-building abilities.
- The ability to create leads, complete transactions, and meet sales goals.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-driven.
- Solid grasp of customer acquisition and retention techniques.
- Experience with CRM technologies and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Be willing to travel widely inside Bangalore.
- Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or direct selling.
- Excellent networking and recruiting skills.
- The ability to assess market trends and devise sales tactics.
