Looking For Ad Sales/Business Development Leading Cable Ad Agency

Roles and Responsibilities :

Desired Competencies :

We are looking for highly motivated individuals having experience as Category Managers preferably in Categories like BFSI, Education, FMCG, Retail, Clothing, Auto, Mobile

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, Manage & Execute Sales Plans for a category or set of categories of advertisers

- Plan category specific activities such as identifying customers, and setting objectives and achieving the same

- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers to sell new advertising programs and to protect and increase existing advertising.

- Maintain good relationship with clients to ensure continuous business growth.

- Ensure on-time delivery and quality of advertisements.

- Develop sales strategies to achieve the short- and long-term sales revenue objectives.

- Develop innovative and creative ideas for increasing sales.

- Explaining the benefits of your medium, using statistics on readership or viewing figures

- Prioritize customers based on revenue potential.

- Determine new sales opportunities by studying the latest market trends.

- Determine sales forecast and present the figures to the management and customers.

Performance Measures :


- Achievement of the set target

- Driving the pricing agenda

Skillset Required :

Excellent Presentation Skills, Motivation For Sales, Sales Planning, Territory Management, Are Persistent, Have A Flair For Closing Deals Meeting Sales Goals


Qualification :


- Minimum Qualification: MBA/PG (Premier Institutes preferred)

- With at least 2 - 5 years of post-qualification experience in Media Industry

Knowledge And Skills :


- Strong direct sales skills, ability to develop new clients and handle

- Business Development Relationship development and networking with media partners.

- Knowledge of ad sales and relationships with agencies / clients is preferred and will be an advantage-Strong communication, presentation skills, quantitative and analytical ability-Knowledge of sales planning, branding, analytics, marketing fundamentals
