Business Development Role (5-10 yrs)
You will be the voice of the EA with the local management in the country & driving the focusses for the BU in the sales country.
- Developing the local business plan for the focus BU
- Challenging the BU in HQ
- Feeding back the needs of the market to HQ on sales and marketing tools
- Working with the PMM to take the monitoring of sales performance and translate gaps into sales actions
- Working with the PMM on sales incentives and key focusses to drive sales
- Ensures CS departments and IS sales have a full understanding of the strategy of the BU and are applying the latest focused products.
- Coaching all members of the cluster team (not just SE, but also FLMs, Marketing, TS, AE, Management etc) on responsible portfolio
- Responsible for development of EA knowledge in the country (evaluation & closing competence gaps)
- Helping sales define target accounts
- Helping sales develop account plans for into a target customer
- Key multiplier and driver of application success and focuses
- Presentations and sales visits to major key customer - focus on coach, but often required to lead by example
- Talking at events within the country, conference, exhibitions, key customer events etc.
