Business Development Officer - Real Estate (3-5 yrs)
Position Overview :
- We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Officer to drive the growth and expansion of our design, make (prefabricate), and build start-up company. As the BD Officer, you will play a crucial role in implementing our business development strategy, focusing on franchise network development, collaborations with developers, and strategic partnerships.
- Your responsibilities will involve fostering relationships, identifying opportunities, and facilitating the successful execution of projects. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of the construction and real estate industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Franchise Network Development:
- Develop and refine the franchise model and operations manual.
- Identify potential franchisees and evaluate their suitability.
- Provide training and support to franchise owners.
- Establish monitoring systems to ensure compliance with standards.
- Foster a collaborative relationship with franchisees, offering guidance and resolving issues.
2. Collaborations with Developers:
- Identify key developers and stakeholders for potential collaborations.
- Evaluate collaboration opportunities based on strategic fit and market potential.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with developers to explore mutually beneficial projects.
- Coordinate the negotiation and execution of collaboration agreements.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between the company and collaborating developers.
3. Strategic Alliances:
- Identify potential strategic partners that complement our strengths and weaknesses.
- Conduct due diligence to evaluate the compatibility and feasibility of alliances.
- Develop frameworks and structures for strategic partnerships.
- Facilitate the negotiation and establishment of alliance agreements.
- Monitor the progress and impact of strategic partnerships, and make necessary adjustments.
4. In-house Real Estate Brands and Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and promote in-house real estate brands.
- Provide support to franchise owners in utilizing the house brands effectively.
- Assist in marketing efforts to acquire lands through joint ventures with the brand's support.
- Support franchise owners with ERP deployment and sales and marketing strategies.
5. Market Insights and Sales Support:
- Lead market research initiatives to gather insights and identify new opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Support the sales and marketing team with data-driven strategies and tactics.
- Provide guidance on effective utilization of the ERP system for streamlined operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless information flow.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of franchising, collaborations, and strategic partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficient in using CRM software and ERP systems.
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
