Business Development Manager - Insights Services (5-8 yrs)
Job Description : Business Development Manager, South Asia
Function : Sales
Location : Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities :
- Sale of products, processes or services within the WGSN portfolio
- Achieve above average growth targets
- Develops and implements plans to achieve and exceed growth targets by thorough business planning and forecasting
- Actively promotes WGSN's services and capabilities to build presence and credibility in the industry
- Shares personal experience and knowledge with the wider WGSN teams in order to develop capabilities for the broader organization
Key Skills and Competencies :
- Ability to handle monthly sales targets and understanding of sales processes and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with high level of proficiency working across teams to architect solutions to problems even when the offerings to address those problems do not currently exist
- Able to communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
- Ability to assimilate customer challenges/needs into commercial opportunities for business development
- Ability to guide and develop prospects in maximising value of the WGSN portfolio
- Able to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions to deliver results
Experiences :
- Degree holder in any discipline
- 5 to 8 years - experience within a business insight, marketing intelligence or professional services organisation achieving consistent revenue generation through new business acquisitions preferably within the fashion and retail sectors
