Business Development & Growth Strategist - Bidder/Proposal (2-4 yrs)

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Executive and Upwork Bidder to join our team. As a key member of our business development unit, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base through effective bidding and client relationship management on platforms like Upwork. Your role will be pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, creating compelling proposals, and building strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities :

Upwork Bidding :

- Proactively search for relevant projects on Upwork that align with our company's expertise and services.

- Prepare and submit tailored, persuasive, and competitive proposals to potential clients on Upwork.

- Collaborate with the technical and creative teams to develop comprehensive project plans and estimates.


Client Engagement :

- Build and maintain client relationships by responding promptly to client inquiries, understanding their needs, and addressing concerns.

- Conduct client calls and meetings to gather project requirements and provide insights on our services.

Market Research :

- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.

- Analyze client feedback and market trends to refine our service offerings and proposal strategies.

Lead Generation :

- Identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels to expand our business network.

- Generate leads through networking, referrals, social media, and other relevant platforms.

Proposal Development :

- Collaborate with internal teams to create comprehensive and compelling proposals that address client needs and demonstrate our value proposition.

- Customize proposal content to align with specific project requirements and client expectations.

Sales Strategies :

- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.

- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing clients.

Client Communication :

- Maintain regular communication with clients during project execution, ensuring clear expectations, timely updates, and issue resolution.

Requirements :


- Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or Bidder, with a successful track record of winning projects on platforms like Upwork.


- Strong understanding of various industries, services, and market trends.


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and engage clients effectively.


- Proactive and self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.


- Tech-savvy with proficiency in using communication tools, project management platforms, and CRM software.
