Business Development Consultant
- Identify, evaluate and implement new lucrative business propositions. Prospect and acquire new clients.
- Achieve assigned sales targets in terms of New Client Acquisition, number of projects and value and build a robust pipeline of Business Leads.
- Experience working in a targeted business to business (B2B) sales environment, have a passion for sales and building profitable relationships with the ability to get on with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience in an Outbound telesales/cold calling environment, with a proven track record of achieving challenging activity targets (B2B experience desirable).
- Experience in developing new business leads, diary management and appointment setting for field-based teams.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build productive trust relationships with customers.
- A proven track record of achieving challenging financial sales and customer retention targets.
- Ability to actively listen to and understand the customers' needs, remaining knowledgeable on products offered with the ability to discuss available options.
