Business Development/B2B Sales Role - Export (1-4 yrs)
Roles & responsibilities
- Ensure operating activities are streamlined by working with partners to ensure on-time performance. Responsible for P&L driven decisions for the region.
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Responsible for the sales effort, acquiring new clients, retaining existing clients and achieving revenue plans from existing and new clients in specific vertical/regions.
- Building the buyer and seller network in the region by identifying key players in the market.
- On-boarding of new vendors on the platform & show them initial success for them to be interested in aligning & working closely with the company.
- Taking complete ownership of the vendor's experience with the company & handling issues such as compliance, payments & other operational issues of the vendors.
- Overseeing the annual renewals process, ensuring on-target retention of existing vendors.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals.
- Staying informed about competing products and services.
- Upselling products and services.
- Researching and qualifying new leads.
Candidate requirements -
- Have an experience of 1-4 years
- Candidate have worked with unorganized/SME vendors & have experience in dealing with them.
- Exceptional business and analytical skills and ability to run-entire business cycle independently.
- Experience in team handling and B2B ecom industry would be preferred.
- Deep thinker - Should be able to identify problems and break it down to come up with a solution.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English.
- Focused and possess sales mindset.
