Job Description- Business Content Writer :

As a content writer, you'll be working with teams across the company to ensure that anything we tell our customers is framed in the simplest and most effective language possible. The role involves a fair amount of tech immersion and writing for business software users, especially in developed markets such as North America and Europe. The role reports into the Marketing team.

Your work will have you fiddling with taglines on website pages, writing blog posts for feature announcements, putting together thought leadership posts for guest publications, building presentations to better explain features, engage audiences on social media and so on. You'll ensure that anything we publish is simple yet linguistically correct and of high professional standards.

The ideal candidate

- Has a history of published content (preferably on the Internet so we can comb through it, prior to the interview)

- Enjoys breaking down technical concepts and explaining problems to people

- Is able to write from the business user's / practitioner's viewpoint

- Has excellent communication skills and delights in their ability to put words together to form meaningful, catchy sentences

- Not only has great ideas for writing content but also for distribution and measurement

- Is a grammar pedant

- Can ensure content is accurate, consistent with our editorial policies

- Is preferably familiar with the APA style guidelines
