Building Blocks Software Services - Manager - Marketing/Business Development (3-7 yrs)
- The Marketing Business Development Manager is an essential role within Buildingblocks. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for our outbound marketing and business development campaigns, growing the top of our revenue funnel with qualified opportunities for the sales team. As the first person to communicate with prospective new customers, you will be the face of the company, and will represent our brand from the get-go - a role that you take very seriously.
- Reporting to the Director of Operations, you- ll work closely with the entire revenue organization spanning marketing, sales, and customer success, to build a best-in-class market development program. Starting with researching and identifying the perfect contacts who meet our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), learning about their current roles, challenges, and career aspirations, and figuring out creative ways in which RevTrax can help them become heroes in their organizations, you'll be responsible for developing highly innovative, multi-channel outbound marketing and business development campaigns that drive our business forward.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for all outbound outreach and pipeline development, key responsibilities include :
- Research and identify target organizations, personas, and specific individuals for marketing and business development outreach efforts.
- Prioritize target accounts and develop intelligent, - high touch- outbound marketing strategies for attracting prospects- attention and converting them into qualified opportunities for the sales team. Develop highly tailored pitches that cut through the clutter and excite prospective new customers about our products and services.
- Collaborate with marketing on messaging and positioning, channels (email, phone, direct mail, social media, etc.), and tactics to continually optimize the market development function: Grow lead/opportunity volume, increase velocity, and improve efficiency/ROI across the process (i.e., improve cost per lead - CPL- and cost per acquiring customers - CAC- metrics).
- Provide weekly and ad hoc reporting to management on our market development status and performance by leveraging qualitative and quantitative data and insights. Proactively suggest areas for improvements and develop game plans for implementing them.
Required experience and knowledge :
- 3+ years- experience prospecting and/or inside sales experience.
- Experience prospecting into larger and more complex organizations with multiple decision makers for an enterprise sale.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in outbound email prospecting, related software and contact databases.
- Preferred experience with Hubspot or similar CRM.
- Great work ethic, collaborative and hungry to succeed.
- Business savvy with a proven ability to connect with decision makers.
