Purpose of Position :
- Reporting into the Sales Director, this is a key role which will drive the business strategy to a new level for BSI, being responsible for an aggressive growth campaign to drive business development and sales
- In this role you will be responsible for ensuring BSI has an effective sales strategy that delivers an optimal level of new sales from its chosen markets, business streams and industry sectors - fully utilizing all channels and ensuring the quality, timing and strategic fit of sales that supports the growth needs of the business. You will also be responsible for launching new products and services, this role will also optimize existing services by using the full marketing mix including online/offline activities to meet our market needs.
Key Results Areas & Principal Accountabilities :
- To be successful in this role you'll have experience of leading, motivating and developing a team of sales & marketing professionals who will exceed our growth targets through prospecting and high levels of sales and business development activity. You will be comfortable working collaboratively across a business to jointly own a business plan ensuring the business metrics are delivered and our strategic growth targets are met. With strong client acquisition, account and client relationship management skills, you will be able to position BSI products and services effectively at the Executive level with existing and prospective clients.
- Act as a brand Ambassador for BSI. This means acting ethically, following company rules and promoting BSI services to clients so they are able to optimize business performance and - Make Excellence a Habit- .
Responsibilities :
- Achieving sales budgets and revenue as well as days and goals for all product lines in assigned territory/account set, and developing new business opportunities
- Developing new accounts and maintaining a strong relationship with consultant's and cooperation partners.
- Monitoring competitors' sales activities and reporting significant developments to management.
- Preparing quotations and following up for all activities.
- Update SFDC as and when activities are completed.
- Accurate updating of information to enable reliable forecasting.
- Attending Trade Shows and Conferences.
- Monthly sales performance report.
- Above should not restrict initiatives and implied responsibilities.
- Working with team to achieve the KPI of the region on monthly basis.
- To manage the team of BDM- s, BDE's and Training Sales Advisors.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience :
- Educated to Graduate, Post Graduate, Engineering Degree level / other specialist qualification in a subject or equivalent industrial experience.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of management system standards.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a client/s organization and BSI.
- Proven negotiation skills to be able to negotiate technical issues when dealing with the client organization's management in relation to assessment findings.
- Excellent presentation skills, able to present assessment findings professionally and effectively to senior managers.
- Able to keep up with changes to business, industry, management thinking and developing assessment styles.
- Familiar with basic MS Office packages including MS Word, Internet Explorer, Outlook and Point Global.
- Knowledge of sales CRM tool (Salesforce.com) will be an added advantage.
- Strong written communication skills, able to formulate clear, concise and professional reports, explaining technical issues, within required timeframes.
- Self-organization skills / self-motivated - needs to be able to manage their own workload to maximize self-effectiveness.

Additional Details :
All the Line Managers have the following responsibilities towards Environment, Health and Safety program in addition to their roles and responsibilities defined for the purpose of job
- Perform the role for Environment, Health and Safety as defined for all the employees
- Communication with identified interested parties for applicable issues on Environment, Health and Safety
- Offer safe work environment to the employees under his/her control
- Monitor the compliance to the requirements of Environment, Health and Safety as communicated by Head Technical and Compliance and/or management of BSI at various instances
- Encourage participation and consultation of the employees under his/her control for identification and management of hazards and associated risk
- Monitor the performance of the employees under his/her control for trainings completed, use of PPE, and other aspects as relevant for enhancing awareness, competence and performance of Environment, Health and Safety
- Contribute towards achieving the objectives for Environment, Health and Safety
- Report the near miss, incidence, accidents or suggestions etc. as given by employees to Head Technical and Compliance. Participate in investigation and improvement process
- Ensure that the employees who exercise their right to withdraw from work due unsafe environment are not subjected to any kind of harassment, reprisals or similar act
- Support and implement policies for making BSI a safe workplace
