BS Technologies - Manager - Business Development (4-8 yrs)
Our Company requires and is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to Understand the company's goals to continuously enhance the company's performance by implementing growth strategies. An individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspect of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and ability to close deals. The ideal candidate must have experience in targeting relationships, researching markets and also be a team player who knows what he needs from his team. Preference will be given to those who plan to stay and grow with our company for the foreseeable future.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Research Markets (Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Beverage, Diary, Brewery and Distillery), pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
- Understand the target markets, including industry, company, contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
- Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects.
- Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning.
- Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors.
- Analyse current and past financial data, such as sales reports, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.
- Prepare company budget and continually track expenses, as well as make sure we- re on track to hit revenue targets.
- Provide training and mentoring to members of the team, thereby creating a collaborative environment within the organization.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferred: Mechanical, Electrical and Biotechnology)
- 4+ year's experience working as a marketing or a business development professional (Preferred: Worked with/for one or more or the following industries - Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Brewery, Distillery, and Diary)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed.
- Good leadership skills.
- Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power point.
- Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner.
