Brring - Key Account Manager - Supply Chain Vertical (5-8 yrs)
Job Summary:
As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, ensuring strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that maximize revenue and profitability while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Account Management:
- Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with key accounts - Food brands, Cloud Kitchen QSR's, etc.
- Develop a deep understanding of the clients' business and market dynamics.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to maximize profitability.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within key accounts.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by providing personalized support.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues in a timely manner.
- Foster long-term relationships to drive customer loyalty.
Budget Management :
- Develop and manage the budget for key account management activities.
- Allocate resources effectively to support account growth and meet financial targets.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
- Use market insights to develop effective account-specific sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored marketing plans for key accounts.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure on-time and efficient delivery of products.
- Collaborate with the product development team to customize products or services based on key account requirements.
- Coordinate with customer service to address any issues or concerns promptly.
Performance Metrics:
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for key account management.
- Regularly report on sales, revenue, and market data to evaluate progress and make data-driven decisions.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all contracts and agreements are up-to-date and compliant with legal and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of account-related transactions and communications.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 5+ years' Proven experience in key account management within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of FMCG products, market trends, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
