Bristlecone - Business Development - Software Services/Software Products (5-11 yrs)
Bristlecone is seeking a candidate with experience and knowledge in identifying and qualifying potential clients, partnership & alliances for software services / software products. This is a quota-carrying position with focus on generating an opportunity pipeline for the Sales & Pre-sales teams through cold calling, Emailing, partnerships, digital marketing and similar channels. In this role, your primary responsibility will be outbound prospecting, generating interest to uncover Sales Ready opportunities and qualifying new leads in a team environment within South East Asia & Europe.
Responsibilities :
- This profile requires ownership of targets and end-to-end handling of leads / opportunities with Sales team.
- Responsible for generating only NET NEW Accounts, no mining or Farming.
- The person has to develop a complete Business Development plan, build and execute strategies. He is also required to build complete interactions with stakeholders internal/ external.
- Should build a good network in corporate market.
- Ability to work on generating new leads worth. 0.5 Million to 1.5 million dollars
- Ability to achieve sales targets between 4 Million to 6 million dollars
- Outbound communication by phone and email to a large volume of cold and warm leads daily.
Initiate conversations with decision makers, qualify and manage inquiries, identify and understand business needs, and create new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reports by effective use of Sales force. Collaborate and identify opportunities and create a pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns. Maintain lead records and activities over sales force
- Ability to manage multiple roles if required - sales, Pre sales, Marketing, Alliances and inside sales
Requirements :
- Ability to take on aggressive targets in terms of booking number. 5-8 years of related business Development experience for IT services. Good understanding of partner ecosystems with an understanding of managing alliances. SAP Alliances or Oracle Alliances is an advantage
- Must have Good understanding of Supply chain domain - Sales/ Business Development of SAP related services is required along with exposure to pre sales, Digital Marketing, Alliances, Partners etc.
- Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being too aggressive
- Great verbal and written communication, time management skills a must.
- Flexibility to work in Multiple Shifts
Academic Requirements :
- Bachelors Engineering / MBA, previous experience in a team environment and technology savvy.
- A proven track record of competition, success, and building relationships. Demonstrates strong business communication skills, including but not limited to verbal and written communication, ability to communicate effectively and can demonstrate interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience with software sales is highly desirable.
