Position: Vice President (VP) of Sales - Garment Software

As the VP of Sales for Garment Software, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and market presence of our software solutions within the garment industry. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the garment sector, and the ability to lead a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
- Identify new business opportunities and innovative approaches to capture a larger share of the garment software market.
- Working with the marketing department to design print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services
- Manage sales teams and maintain sales operations
- Proven track record of having handled the entire sales cycle
- Experience in team management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Outline and manage sales budgets
- Set quarterly and annual sales goals
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that generate leads and drive sales.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and product positioning.
- Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction
- Negotiate deals to closure with analyst pursuit team
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for executive leadership.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required by management
- Available for travel as needed
Requirements and skills :
- Proven experience (8+ years) in sales leadership roles within the IT industry, with a focus on software solutions.
- Deep understanding of the garment industry and its software needs.
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products and the market
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Great strategic planning, organizational and creative thinking skills
- Sales, Account Management, and Sales Operations skills
- Sales Management and Business Development skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- A Bachelor/Master's degree in a business-related field is preferred
