Brand Team Leader - Media (4-5 yrs)
ROLE SUMMARY
As the Brand Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Group's Digital campaigns and ensuring its success. The campaigns cover various business schools, so experience in managing multiple, successful Digital campaigns is a must. A successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Digital Marketing to increase brands- visibility and consequently increasing online traffic and driving student acquisition. Reporting into the Digital Operations Manager, the Brand Team Leader will develop key strategic quantitative analysis for the Global Digital Marketing team. They will be able to produce actionable recommendations using Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Yahoo, Affiliate Networks, FB platform, Adserver, CRM (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics), auto bidding tool (e.g. Marin), web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and various statistical techniques.
In addition to delivering new business insights, this role will be responsible for providing ongoing strategic guidance, recommendations & training the team and managing any third party programmatic suppliers.
We seek an expert in the digital marketing ecosystem, ideally with expertise with Analytics platforms and Excel, and proficiency across Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo! Gemini, Facebook advertising, Affiliates platform and display partners. Past experience with analytics integrations, creation and maintenance of URL tracking codes, and proven ability to understand, manipulate and report on metrics is highly desired.
KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the team by delivering timely, insightful and actionable analyses
- Interact with internal teams to understand requests, prioritize, and set clear expectations
- Solve complex business problems by using advanced analytics
- Use existing tools within PPC, affiliates, Facebook, and other statistical packages to create and automate complex reporting of each channel performance across all GUS brands
- Answer ad hoc questions and conduct deep dive analyses for the business
- Conduct Lifetime Value analysis across all vehicles and recommend budget allocations
- Enhance current reporting tools and develop new tools to support the digital landscape
- Identify trends and opportunities across various media and communication channels
- Ongoing report creation and reporting to stakeholders

- Plan, implement and optimise digital campaigns
- Conduct A/B tests on copy and landing pages
- Identify new trends and opportunities
- Use a range of analytical tools to identify areas of success/that need improvement
- Report statistics to the Digital Operations Manager and relevant stakeholders
- Work alongside other marketing teams to harmonise strategies
- Quarterly and month plans, budget forecast and media plan delivery in collaboration with the other digital marketing channels
- Implement tracking and reporting on success rates, ROI & Lead volumes
- Create and evaluate digital marketing strategies
- Possess exceptional budget management skills
- Developing short and long term strategic marketing plans to ensure that company KPIs are hit
- Meeting targets relating to income and expenditure for all brands under your remit.
- Managing staff within the digital team to include recruitment & selection, deployment, performance, training and development.
- Providing advice and guidance on new industry developments to individuals and teams within the team as required, and working on developing, designing and implementing new changes as requested.
- Contribute significantly to the broader online marketing mix
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential Desirable
Qualifications/Education Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience.
- A general Marketing qualification.
- Adwords qualified Knowledge/Skills - Crucial knowledge of
Digital Marketing Industry
- Knowledge of adserver, CRM tools, search bidding, programmatic partners, and web analytics
- Knowledge of various online channels, such as PPC, display, affiliates, paid social
etc.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Fluent and influential verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work as an independent decision maker, along with the ability to work collaboratively with a team

- Clear, demonstrable excitement about working in the online marketing sector
- Google AdWords & Analytics Certification is a plus
Experience - At least 3-5 years- experience in digital Marketing
- Extensive experience analysing website traffic, including onpage behaviours, inbound traffic patterns, and A/B testing
- Digital marketing experience, including SEM, SEO, affiliate networks, shopping sites, email, as well as standard industry practices
- Experienced in managing people with a focus on team wellbeing and professional development
- Background in managing large scale online channels
- Experience of working in a fast-moving business
- Experience of managing change and implementing new initiatives
- Knowledge and interest about technology, marketing and communications.
