Brand Manager - Marketing (4-8 yrs)

This position strives to gain an understanding and support for platinum and influence opinion and behavior through Integrated marketing efforts with a strong role for digital. The position incumbent will oversee the All Marketing initiatives for platinum & its 2 brands - Evara & the newly launched Men of Platinum. The ambition is to take these brands to greater heights & truly help build Platinum as a category. The position will be based in Mumbai.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Researching and reporting:

- Staying on top of brand performance & suggesting corrective measures required to align with approach/ tasks/ brand requirements by working closely with agencies.

- Tapping into emerging digital & mainline opportunities for both brands & building them into the overall business - brand approach/ task seamlessly in consultation with brand lead

- Initiating annual reviews, competitive reviews, campaign reviews in a timely way to evaluate, analyse & help give the brand direction while spotting additional opportunities with this that the business can leverage

- Ensuring regularity in performance reporting to the marketing manager

Leading and managing:

- Asset & brand health analysis

- Implementation of marketing programs for both brands in sync with the strategy, aid & shape creative development to meet business objectives. Direct media inputs & lead implementation across media post approval

- Inspire, motivate, brief, liaise, evaluate and share feedback with agency on creative & content development for all media

- Create amplification & support plans for programs/ initiatives that are largely ATL led

- Documentation and budget management for the portfolio

- Opportunity spotting on each brand from a communication & business lens

- Devising & successfully implementing plans on taking the business opportunity fur-ther with partners

- Striving for work that is a on top on quality expectations & shines for its thought leadership

Planning and organizing:

- Content, media, digital and campaign management calendar with agencies

- Team - agency meetings, agenda setting and feedback sessions

- Briefs to agencies

Coordination and compliance:

- Ensuring adherence to processes with agencies and internal teams

- Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and requirements - brand custodian

- Working with agencies/teams to meet timelines and delivery

- Must have the ability to proactively build collaborative relationships with others in the or-ganization & partners outside as well, demonstrate respect and sensitivity towards cultural differences is very crucial

- Needs to lead and supervise in order to build trust and facilitate relationships, must be able to lead by example and possesses a lot of self - determination

- Must have a skill for network management - the ability to plan, manage & control activi-ties and projects well in advance; manage time effectively; identify and organize re-sources needed to accomplish tasks; monitor performance against milestones & deadlines

- Good communication & language skills - someone who speaks fluently, expresses opinions, information and key points of an argument clearly; makes presentations and undertakes public speaking with skill and confidence; responds quickly to the needs of an audience and to their reactions and feedback

- A thorough professional with Personal commitment to organizational excellence; honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decision and actions.

- Fair understanding of media and advertising across all media - digital and offline.

- Is able to develop strong and innovative digital marketing strategies, that meet set objec-tives. Is able to develop engaging written, graphic, and video content with creative teams while staying up-to-date on latest marketing technologies and social media.

- Knowledge of important digital tools & measurement metrics - Website analytics, social media analytics (Google Analytics), listening tools, Search

- Networking with agencies, publishers, other important stake holders to extract what is best for our brands & business

- Make partnerships work in a collaborative manner so that the business & brand benefits

- Monitor work done finely & mine back those learnings & insights into work the follows

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

- MBA in marketing /A communication centric degree - any certification in digital marketing

- Worked in marketing in a brand management role OR at a digital agency OR at a full ser-vice mainline agency with digital experience too

- Has worked with creative teams in any earlier role

- Proven success and track record with ideas

- Experience with handling brands from lifestyle, high end youth fashion, luxury - Young, Au-to - Young, Technology - Phones industry

REMUNERATION

Will be commensurate with the incumbents experience level and benchmark market rates.
