We are having an exciting and urgent opening with our esteemed client in Gurgaon for the position of Brand Manager. Please find below the details for the position -

Job Description -

In this role, you have the opportunity to :

Be the custodian of our seminal brands. You will lead a define the brand agenda operating as an intrapreneur. Your day to day work will include building long term brand strategy as well as execution of marketing campaigns to drive business results. Ideal candidate has experience growing and nurturing strong brands, an innate focus on consumer, problem solving skills, Campaign management, stakeholder management (internal, external), ability to work with partner agencies.

Responsibilities :

1. Functional Expertise :

- Must have experience managing mid to large-sized brands in a fast-paced environment.

- Developed and implemented comprehensive brand strategies that drive business outcomes through consumer-focused solutions.

- Conducting market research to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform brand strategy.

- Developing and overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.

- Ability to think strategically and convert these strategies into actionable operational plans.

- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including product positioning, pricing strategy, and promotional activities.

- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, including sales data, market share, and customer feedback.

2. Interaction :

- Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to brand management.

- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align brand initiatives with overall business goals.

- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills by building and maintaining relationships with key partners, including marketing agencies, media outlets, and influencers.

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty with a strong bias for consumer-first thinking.

3. Problem Solving :

- Ability to work with speed and efficiency in an ambiguous environment, identifying and addressing market challenges such as shifts in consumer behavior, competitive pressures, and economic changes.

- Develop contingency plans and innovative solutions to navigate market uncertainties and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

- Manage brand-related crises effectively, including negative publicity, product recalls, and other issues that may impact brand reputation.

- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to mitigate damage and restore brand trust.

- Continuously seek ways to improve brand management processes and practices.

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the brand remains competitive and relevant.

- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies.

Qualification & Experience (type & industry) :

- Any graduate degree from tier 1 institute, MBA a plus.


- 4-7 years of experience after graduation (Teir 1 Institute) or 3-5 years of experience post-MBA from a tier 1 institute.

Skills & know-how :

- People interaction and ability to interface with multiple teams to get the campaigns off the ground. (partner teams, operations, analytics, legal), ability to put together processes and stick to policy and process.

- Good knowledge of communication, digital marketing and direct marketing campaigns.

- Positive attitude and ability to lead a team and work with 2-3 agencies at the same time

- Ability to communicate well with internal stakeholders.

- Project management skills.
