Brand Manager - eCommerce (2-5 yrs)
Preferably managing a digital brand or having most of the revenue from digital channels. Candidates handling similar roles in D2C brands like First cry, Hopscotch, Splash Learn or in a marketing agency handling digital brands portfolio will be the best fit for this role.
Experience of working with international brands (including international clients) will be preferred, experience in kids' category preferred. Understanding of concepts like brand positioning is critical for this role - more specifically for digital brands. Exposure into creation of a new brand identity or repositioning exercise of an existing brand will be mandatory. Need to have hands-on experience in scaling social channels (specifically YouTube and Instagram) and experience in working with creators and collaborators will be mandatory. Understanding of D2C communication channels like email, push notification, WhatsApp will be appreciated. The candidate needs to have hands-on experience in conceptualizing and designing brand assets including website and social channels. The candidate needs to be a master of content marketing, including intricate understanding of contents in different channels and how content modification needs to be done based on communication channels. Candidate needs to have an exquisite design sense and needs to be comfortable working with creative and content designers. Hands-on experience into AI tools for content creation like ChatGPT as well as understanding of AI tools for design like Canva, Freepik will be required. Also needs to have a general ability to adopt and use marketing tools fast - Webengage, Singular (attribution) etc.
Key deliverables of the Role
The key objectives of this role will be to accomplish the following:
- Lead the brand repositioning exercise for SKIDOS across the organization
- Ensure that all existing brand and product assets are in strict compliance with the brand guidelines
- Lead all content marketing initiatives - inside product, across channels (D2C and social channels), other brand assets like websites.
- Lead all design activities for different channels to ensure that the brand language is brought into life in the most exquisite fashion for our global target audience
- Scale our social channels to 10x by end of 2024 through organic efforts, targeted collaborations with the right content creators and collaborators, influencers - YouTube and Instagram to ensure that we are able to have our content reaching our core markets US, UK, Australia
- Drive engagement with our channels from our core audience. Lead generation through these channels with our core audience.
- Have a keen eye for creative designs and drive customer communication through insightful textual and visual communication framework.
- Create winning partnerships with international brands having similar brand values / audience from our core markets.
- Have an innate love for technology products and find the best means to enable the customers discover the product value on a continuous basis.
