Brand Executive - Copy Writing (2-8 yrs)
Job responsibilities will include :
- Interpreting briefs to produce original brand content
- Writing copy that complements the creative concepts for, but not limited to, website(s), campaigns, offline channels and social media
- Reworking and enhancing content based on feedback from stakeholders
- Ensuring all copy is proofread and free of errors
- Using research to establish the strategy for reaching out to the target audience
- Communications to customers and ensuring consistency in the brand voice
- Formulating and integrating key words for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and writing long form content for the website
- Creating & Proofreading Press releases and crafting new press interaction pieces to maximize earned media
- Creating new Social Media concepts and execute on a weekly basis
- Work with the Brand Manager(s) & Creative Team(s) on product and brand shoots
- Learn & understand upcoming New Media (Social, Digital etc.) trends and adapt them into Communication Plans
- Be the one point of contact for all D2C Copy Content
- Creating Internal Communication mailers, presentations and videos as per requirement
- Work with PR, Advertising and Media agencies to optimize content and deliver creative inputs as per brand requirements
- Ability to derive learnings from every consumer touchpoint, and adapt into future communications
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, Advertising or related field
- Prior experience of 1-2 years as a Copywriter, preferably with a major or boutique Advertising agency, as well as a strong portfolio of copy samples
- Experience/understanding of search engine optimization
- Exceptional control over the English language
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress etc. is a strong plus
- Familiarity with commonly used style guides, and can evolve content copy as per Brand requirements
- Exceptional writing and research skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and deliver work within timelines
- Can work independently as well as within a team
- Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment
