Brand Executive - Content Writing/Marketing Communications (3-6 yrs)

Role Purpose :
The role will involve working very closely with the Marketing Communications and Admission teams and will broadly will require the person to :
- Write, edit and optimize content for website, social media, newsletters, blogs, marketing collaterals, etc.
- Execute and monitor marketing and communications strategies covering Websites, SEM, SEO, Social Media, digital marketing, advertising, PR and events to build brand awareness and drive business growth;
- Produce content and campaign material for our services and reports across media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Quora, Insta, news, AdWords, events and roundtables, email etc.)
Roles and Responsibilities :
Newsletters :
- Start creating monthly newsletters across all campuses and emailing all stakeholders; Will involve identifying content in coordination with campuses, designing these newsletters in the most suitable email format and sending it across different target groups.
Newsletter includes :
- Parent newsletters with updates from campuses - Ekya, CMRNPS and CMR National PU Colleges as a whole.
- Current teachers - Internal newsletter which highlights good work by teachers, best academic practises, latest global
Research :
Blogs :
- Creating a strong culture of writing and publishing among students, working closely with respective campus editorial committees
- Identifying content marketing strategies and getting guest bloggers to write
- Publishing - featured content- on our blogs once every fortnight
Social posts & Collaterals :
- Constantly maintaining relevant activity across all our social media presence (facebook / twitter / instagram/ linkedin/ YouTube/ Quora)
- Net result - Improving engagement from current levels by at least 30% in the next 6-8 months making our social pages one that parents should love to visit often
- Promote and feature internal events, build up for annual day/ sports/ open days
- Creation of invites, brochures, and other marketing collaterals
- Help students create club websites, in terms of design
Website and online content :
- Updating website content to reflect updates across different campuses
- Re-looking at website content periodically and aligning it to optimize search engine results
- Net result - improving search ranking month-on-month
- Identifying other online platforms to update our content such as Wikipedia, bangaloreschools.com etc.
Reviews :
- Identifying ways and means to improve ratings and reviews of all campuses across different parent portals and platforms (facebook/google/parentree/etc)
- Quickly acknowledging and responding to reviews online and identifying ways to handle situations that requires the attention of leadership (bad reviews/complaints etc)
Videos :
- Generating video repository of various academic and co-curricular happening across campuses and updating our YouTube/other online video channels
- Producing at least 3-4 high quality video films from across campuses for branding purposes
- In addition, a key component of the role will be to provide a weekly dashboard on aspects mentioned above. Other responsibilities may be included as required. Work will require travel to other campuses.
Qualifications :
- Must possess experience writing copy or within the service industry such as Healthcare, Education etc, may be beneficial or required.

- Confident in producing work across multiple platforms
- Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google suite.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of the company, brand, and product preferred
Professional Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's degree in creative writing, journalism, English,or other related major. Master's degree preferred. International experience will be an added advantage.
