Branch Sales Manager - Life Insurance (6-10 yrs)
Key Accountabilities :
- Manage a team of 8 FLS to drive Service to Sales Model for the organization
- Design and implement strategies that would result in maximizing Sales productivity
- Cross sell and up sell Insurance products based on the life cycle needs of the customers and as defined by the organization
- Provide in-the-field support to direct reports by joining them on calls and providing coaching and feedback based on performance
- Generate referrals from every prospect/customer visit. Overall, build a pipeline of prospects
- To lead the talent retention by example
- Should be process oriented and should adhere to the policies, norms and processes laid down by the organization
- To maintain high morale and engagement levels of the teams by providing constructive feedback and fostering right environment.
- To periodically review the progress of direct reports and suggest corrective measures, if any
- Provides accurate forecasts, updates and requested reports
- Adhere to a proper business work ethic and create a similar expectation of direct reports/peers
- Ensure high quality and high persistency of business generated to support long-term profitability of the company
- Provide feedback and suggestions on initiatives/ changes required in branch operations
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications :
- 6 - 9 years of work experience in hardcore Sales with 1-3 years+ experience in Life Insurance preferably Agency/Direct/Banca vertical.
- Experience in topline ownership and managing a P&L
- Must have at least 1-2 years in Team Management role (for e.g., BH/DBH/ABH/TL position in other Life companies)
- Collaboration, Influencing and negotiation skills
- Age: Not beyond 38 years
