Branch Sales Manager - FMCG (8-10 yrs)

Job Purpose :
- To drive annual sales value, category wise volume, and distribution plan for the company's brand in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana
- Control Direct Distributors, and Sub Distributors.
- Drive distribution in direct outlets and controlled outlets.
- Support implementation of Project Harvest (Rural) in AP/ Telegana; reaching out to all Villages.
- Lead execution of brand and category strategy within customer base through customer marketing initiatives
- Drive critical projects in Region South with the objective of strengthening penetration and distribution of the company's brands in the territory
- Interface with 3 Depots
- Deal with institutions indirectly like CSD, & Hospitals & other institutions etc. (as required)
- Deal with various government authorities like Drug Inspectors, FDA officials. (as required)
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure achievement of category wise sales volume and value targets both monthly and annually as per annual business plan.
- To drive brand wise distribution and infrastructure expansion plan.
- Support implementation of Projects in Rural; reaching out to Villages.
- Work closely with Value Chain team in sales forecasting exercise for short and long term
- Design, recommend and implement Customer Marketing and Expert Marketing activities to combat competitive thrust or unique market demands
- Provide strategic direction for tapping opportunities for growth in business
- Assist the Area Sales Managers and Regional Head in relationship management with wholesalers, trade associations to ensure smooth operations.
- To provide timely and quality administrative backup to the region and other departments.
- To strengthen field force team's functional capability and engagement through implementing - Talent & Culture- strategy for the team.
- Ensure Financial & Customer management through :
a) Credit controls
b) Controlling overheads
c) Implementing credit policy
d) Risk-free realization from the customer
