Branch Manager - Travel Accessories & Travel Luggage (7-16 yrs)

Position : Branch Manager - Gujrat ( All channels of distribution i.e. retail, distribution, trade, key accounts, B2Betc )
Reporting : ZONAL Head
Reportees : Team of 3 - 5
Location : Ahmedabad
Ctc : 11lac to 16lac + incentives, depending upon current CTC, experience, interview status etc.
Job Specification :
- Handling entire Gujarat for all channels viz retail, key accounts and distribution.
- Handling a team of 3-5 on roll people.
Responsibilities :
The position holder will be responsible to drive the sales of all the various channels in their respective branches and handle operational matters. Expand existing channels and identifying new opportunities. Train sales staff.
Business / Sales strategies :
- Expansion of retail footprint in the area of operation.
- To identify growth opportunities to expand business and increase market share.
- To devise strategies to ensure LFL growth in Key account and EBO's
Operation management :
- Develop and manage the right product mix for the local market, conduct local SKU rationalization and product segmentation. Make recommendations based on monthly forecast, marketing information analysis and statistics.
- Inventory planning to ensure the availability of right stocks within the parameters specified.
- Direct the Visual Merchandising functions to ensure effective implementation of marketing and visual merchandising activities as per corporate guidelines
- To ensure receivables are under control and acceptable norms.
- To ensure effective deployment of staff at retail doors within cost parameters.
- Assist sales team with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Regular Market visits to understand and resolve store operational queries.
- Maintain & develop relations with trade associates.
- Competition analysis to be provided on a regular basis to help corporate to make accurate demand forecast.
- Train sales staff and monitor front end staff performances.
- Prepare periodic sales pipeline reports showing sales volume and potential sales for various sales channels.
- Receivable management
Employee Motivation :
- To train, mentor & guide branch sales staff & front end staff.
- Facilitate the internal training programs conducted for the front end staff.
- Product training for the branch sales staff.
Administration :
- To Monitor and control spending within the assigned budget.
- Ensure adherences of all statutory matters and coordinate with the statutory bodies for any disparities arising.
- Assist HR in the on-boarding activities for sales staff at the branch & for the front end staff.
- Regularise monthly attendance within stipulated time.
- Induct new joinees about organisation policy & overview at the branch level.
Experience Requirements :
Education : Post Graduate.
Experience Requirements :
- 6-8 years of working experience in Sales Function in the retail industry.
- Excellent market connection and in depth understanding of local consumer market.
- Should have experience in multiple sales channels.
- Experience in handling & leading a team.
- Has experience preferably with multi-brands, premium brands or other quality fashion related products;
- Experience in MNCs is a significant plus.
Current, team handling ( on rolls ) is mandatory
Should have handled retail, distribution and key accounts channels / variety of distribution
