Branch Manager - Sales - NBFC (5-7 yrs)

- Position : Branch Manager
- Qualification : MBA/Any Graduate
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years (Pref. In Finance sector)
- Salary : Based on his performance in his interview.
- Branch Manager/BM is the sole responsible person for the successful running of a Branch as a profit centre. She/he is the chief functionary of the branch office and all staff report to her/him. She/he is vested with all necessary powers to maintain the branch. BM's responsibility includes:
- Plan and develop branch resources. Identify new areas of operations, develop contacts and plan for necessary infrastructure. Also submit proposals and obtain management approvals for expansion of operations, human resources and infrastructure. Before making any recommendation she/he does a thorough groundwork on each of such proposals.
- Prepare Business Plan for branch. Branch business plan is aggregation of each FE plan.
- Is responsible for overall achievement of targets, profitability by reducing costs to the company.
- Responsible for smooth functioning of the branch in a disciplined manner.
- Ensure that there prevails high degree of customer satisfaction in the branch.
- Plan for HR along with Business plan exercise. Also plan for induction, training and development of the staff.
- Identify candidates for FEs for the branch.
- Arrange for induction and training of staff. Also provide theoretical inputs to staff wherever required.
- Conduct credit appraisal process in respect of loans as mentioned in the Operations Manual and as modified from time to time.
- Maintain an overall good loan portfolio.
- Forward all the loan proposal documents and statement of daily transactions to HO and ensure that they are duly entered in the data base at HO by remaining in touch with the functionaries concerned in HO.
- Ensure proper functioning of branch office.
- Monitor the performance of the staff by paying surprise visits to the field.
- Conduct the Loan Utilization Checks along with the FE in respect of all the loans within the time stipulated.
- Send required reports to HO from time to time.
- Ensure that all cash recoveries are systematically processed and remitted in the bank immediately. Carry on cash inspection at the end of every day. Also ensure that all valuable documents are kept in safe custody and proper register is maintained.
- Make petty cash payments with the approval of HO.
- Maintain all registers and records in a systematic manner.
- Institute and administer local audit as per guidelines. Also facilitate completion of statutory audit in time.
- Ensure compliance of all statutory provisions and follow all rules and procedures specified by the company from time to time.
