Branch Manager - Sales - Loan Against Property (5-10 yrs)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Loan Against Property team for one of our NBFC clients in Tamil Nadu - (Madurai/ Dindigil/ Trichy). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the branch operations, driving business growth, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Branch Manager will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships within the local market.
Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Branch Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth functioning and operational efficiency.
- Implement and adhere to all standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines set by the head office.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all customer transactions, including loans, deposits, and other financial products.
2. Sales & Business Development:
- Drive the branch's sales targets for Loan Against Property (LAP) and other financial products such as personal loans, vehicle loans, and insurance.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the local market to grow the branch's portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, real estate agents, property developers, and other potential partners.
3. Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the branch team, including sales executives, customer service representatives, and operations staff.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and product knowledge of the team.
- Set performance goals for team members and monitor their progress, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs, resolving issues promptly, and providing excellent service.
- Conduct regular customer engagement activities, including follow-ups, cross-selling, and up-selling of products.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to improve products, services, and processes.
5. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management guidelines.
- Monitor the branch's loan portfolio to manage risks, minimize NPAs (Non-Performing Assets), and ensure healthy credit quality.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate any operational or compliance risks.
6. Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the branch's budget, including sales forecasts, operational expenses, and profitability targets.
- Monitor the financial performance of the branch, analyze variances, and take corrective actions to achieve financial goals.
- Ensure effective cost management without compromising service quality or operational efficiency.
7. Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust the branch's strategy accordingly.
- Provide regular feedback to the regional/state head on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and execute localized marketing and promotional strategies to enhance the branch's visibility and attract new customers.
8. Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, including sales achievements, operational metrics, and financial results.
- Maintain clear and open communication with the regional/state head and other senior management regarding branch activities and challenges.
- Ensure effective communication within the branch team, fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment.
Education & Experience:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in the Loan Against Property (LAP) domain within a financial institution, with at least 2 years of proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in loan against property or mortgage lending.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services in the real estate sector
