Branch Manager - Sales - BFS (6-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
Branch Operations Management :
- Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth functioning in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and guide the branch team to achieve operational efficiency and excellent customer service.
Sales and Revenue Generation :
- Drive business growth by acquiring new clients and enhancing the relationship with existing clients in the securities market.
- Promote a range of investment products (equities, bonds, mutual funds, etc.) to meet the financial goals of clients.
- Meet branch-specific targets for revenue, sales, and customer acquisition.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the branch team, including relationship managers and financial advisors.
- Ensure effective training and development programs are in place to upskill the team on market trends and financial products.
Client Relationship Management :
- Maintain and build long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNI), retail clients, and corporate customers.
- Provide regular updates on market trends, and advise clients on their portfolios to optimize returns.
Compliance and Risk Management :
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and compliance guidelines set by SEBI and other regulatory authorities.
- Monitor and manage risk exposure of the branch by ensuring that all trades and transactions are compliant with company policies.
Market Research and Analysis :
- Keep track of market trends, stocks, and other securities to provide informed advice to clients.
- Analyze market movements and develop strategies to increase the profitability of the branch.
Reporting :
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on branch performance, sales targets, and operational efficiency.
- Report directly to the regional or zonal manager and provide regular updates on business development activities.
Key Qualifications :
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields.
- MBA or post-graduate degree in finance would be an advantage.
Experience :
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in the securities market or financial services, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or branch management role.
Certifications : Certifications like NISM-8 (National Institute of Securities Markets) and AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds in India) are preferred.
Skills :
- Strong knowledge of the securities market, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and mutual funds.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in client relationship management and sales.
- Ability to understand financial products and services to meet client needs.
- Sound understanding of compliance, SEBI regulations, and risk management principles.
Additional Skills :
- Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
