Branch Manager - Defense Channel - Insurance (6-14 yrs)
What are we looking for?
Unit Head(UH) position in HDFC Life is a First Level Leadership (FLL) position, who is expected toachieve the Organizational goals for the assigned area in terms of revenue and cost, develop teammembers as well as duly manage the leads assigned from different campaigns.
Purpose :
- Achieving business results in the Defence direct Retail business through worksite sales processthrough effective distribution of Insurance products in the target affinity in AOR.
- Responsible for meetingthe Zone business targets month on month according to the plan.
What does the job entails?
Business Deliverables and Responsibilities :
1. Achievement of monthly, quarterly & yearly Goal sheet targets
2. Review Sales seminar presentations in Units/Battalions of Office Heads.
3. Maintain a database of customers touched through sales seminar presentations in Branch's.
4. Ensuring business is done in an ethical and honest manner which is in compliance to the
IRDA norms
5. Maintain low attrition & develop team for next role.
6. Ensure product knowledge by Company's ways of training
7. Ensure Defence process -Field calls and post presentation follow up process in Units/Battalions.
Work Experience
1. Minimum 6 years of work experience in Sales Development role. 2. Minimum 2 year experience in Team handling of payroll employees
Essential Qualification
Graduate / Post GraduateStrong sales planning, Team management and High achievement driven.
Preferred Skills
Skill Set :
1. Driving sales targets and margins.
2. Design and implement sales plan that helps the team meet their business targets.
3. Implement Defence channel work processes and adhere to the business norms.
4. Develop relations with concerned Officers of the Units/ Battalions in AOR & build an influencer networkin Units/ Battalions for WSP/ Sales Seminar presentations.
5. Build and train a team of front line sales to convert the business leads
6. Development of prospecting habits, calling habits and work habits in Team.
