Boutique Manager - Retail Jewellery Industry (6-10 yrs)
Role Objective :
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a luxury retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, maximizing sales, and managing staff performance. The role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for luxury brands, an understanding of high-end retail dynamics, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve set goals.
Key Responsibilities :
i) Store Operations :
- Ensure the store is operationally efficient, maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and perform regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
ii) Sales and Customer Service :
- Drive sales to meet and exceed store targets and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and increase customer loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
iii) Team Leadership :
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement performance improvement plans as necessary.
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak times and special events.
iv) Marketing and Promotions :
- Coordinate and execute in-store events, promotions, and product launches.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local marketing strategies and community outreach programs.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of promotional activities and sales campaigns.
v) Financial Management :
- Manage the store's budget, controlling expenses to maximize profitability.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and security.
vi) Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain relationships with VIP customers, ensuring personalized service and tailored shopping experiences.
- Network with local businesses and community organizations to enhance the store's reputation and reach.
vii) Business Development :
- Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the store's goals and objectives.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential VIP customers, ensuring personalized and exceptional service.
- Develop loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer retention and satisfaction
- Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and organizations to increase brand visibility and drive foot traffic.
- Collaborate with luxury brand representatives and suppliers to ensure a diverse and attractive product offering.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create joint promotions and events that attract high-value customers.
- Plan and oversee in-store events, product launches, and promotional activities to generate excitement and drive sales.
- Actively participate in local community events and activities to promote the store and brand.
- Sponsor or host exclusive events that attract the store's target clientele and enhance the brand's prestige.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in luxury retail and incorporate innovative ideas into the store's business development plans.
