Considering the above, this role requires the candidate to drive the brand strategy and business objective using online channels including developing the media plan, implementing, tracking and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels, responsible for end to end execution of programs spanning multiple media and domains. The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of brand-building and be adept at crafting marketing communication based on consumer insights, have a passion for all things marketing and technology, will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue.
We are looking for a dynamic and efficient team player with excellent negotiation skills driven by extremely quick turnaround on deliverables and uncompromised timeliness on tasks. We are looking for a self-driven go-getter who is passionate about marketing campaigns and excels at vendor management and execution of end-to-end digital campaign management.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Engaging with various stakeholders to understand project requirements, developing an online go-to-market strategy and providing appropriate recommendations on execution
- To lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution
- Work with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as web developers), and other agencies and affiliates to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
- Using data to understand sales trends / market trends / customer behaviour and making relevant recommendations to teams based on this data
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including lead generation on platforms like Google & Facebook, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns (including new media like Bing, Qoura, LinkedIn etc. too if required)
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages, microsites with optimal UX/UI
- Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
- Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports to grow organic traffic and reduce bounce rates.
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
QUALIFICATION :
- Bachelors / Masters in marketing or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE (IF APPLICABLE) :
- Proven working experience in digital marketing of 4 years and above is preferred
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing lead gen campaigns in Google & Facebook, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative and excellent written communication skills with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital ad campaigns from scratch
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Avoid candidates who have worked in government roles / PSUs
- Experience in handling monthly budgets over 50L (for a single client)
- Working knowledge of lead gen platforms
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing
- Prior work-ex in ecommerce is preferred
FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL ABILITY :
- Understanding of brand, sales and marketing concepts & theory
- Ability to analyse data and derive trends / understanding from it
- Fluent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Power-point, Excel)
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking
- Having a business perspective & ability to do cost-benefit analysis to take risk-laden decisions
