Job Description :
- Procure new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Liaise with the finance team, operations, and logistics departments as appropriate.
- Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
- Contact prospective clients through a variety of mediums - this could include reaching out on social media, phoning, emailing, or meeting in person.
- Keeping on top of administrative tasks - such as updating CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Maintain and update sales, marketing, and business development documentation
- Create sales reports and hold presentations.
- Research and qualify the leads.
- Execute cash recovery and payment reconciliation.
Skills
- Neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Basic IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with CRM software
- Proficiency in English
