Business owner for a specific category of products with the accountability on improving the overall operating margins
Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- Create the product offering focusing on the business synergies, margin improvement and customer value proposition
- Responsible for identifying and signing the right mix of vendors and managing the relationships
- Negotiation and closure of deals with the vendors with favorable terms for the organisation
- Liaise with the product team in finalizing the category requirements and developing the right product offering on the platform
- Setting up governance mechanism and working closely with various sales verticals (Direct, Corporate, Channel etc) to get real time product feedback for improvements.
- Conceptualize and run various initiatives specific to the category to increase the wallet share from the overall potential of the customers
- Manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders to drive various changes focusing on building a profitable category
