Blackboard Radio - Manager - Marketing (2-4 yrs)
Blackboard radio is an award-winning venture funded ed-tech enterprise started by IIT Delhi alumni. Blackboard Radio is a practice-first English Speaking app for children for classes 1-10. The app engages children by giving them daily speaking practice with help of teachers and cutting-edge technology.
Research proves that focused exposure to English in early childhood results in better language acquisition. Furthermore, students have better recall and hence higher gain in vocabulary when they listen, contextualize, and speak a word. And therefore, all the activities on the app are speech and diction focused, with ML in the back end to create a highly personalized and adaptive engine for the user.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will be an integral part of the marketing team leading creative and social media duties (and managing a team of designers, social media executives). The person will lead supervision and execution of communication and creatives across formats and also be responsible for the quality and growth of social media handles.
Roles & responsibilities :
- Understand our different products, business imperatives and translate these into creative communication
- Lead strategy and implementation of social media handles
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast)
- Work with the sales, academic, and senior management teams to put the strategy into practice
Desired Candidate profile :
- 2-3 years experience of having supervised and implemented ad campaigns in Ed-tech companies.
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
- Very strong analytical skills, good command over numbers and a sharp eye for data-driven insights
- Growth mindset to experiment with new ideas and learn from failures
